Poll: Few Americans View Life's Purpose As 'Knowing, Loving And Serving God' 

New data from a multi-part survey exploring how Americans view the world shows that while the majority believe life has a specific purpose, less than one-fifth say life’s purpose is knowing and loving God.

Singer Charles Billingsley Details Battle With Covid-19 & How It Affected His Faith 

Acclaimed singer/songwriter and pastor Charles Billingsley never expected that leading up to the release of his new album, I Was Made for This, he’d be in the battle for his life against COVID-19.
Billingsley, who is a teaching pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in early April and spent about three weeks battling the virus, which included a brief hospitalization. Simultaneously, his new album — his first studio project in two years — was released on April 10.

Gospel Star Troy Sneed Dies at 52 Due to COVID-19 

Grammy nominated gospel singer Troy Sneed passed away early on Monday morning (April 27) due to coronavirus complications. He was 52 years old.
The Perry, Florida, native launched his music career at Florida A&M University, where he studied education with a minor in music. He soon joined the school's choir, and after he graduated, Savoy Records executive Rev. Milton Biggham offered him a position as the Georgia Mass Choir's Assistant Minister of Music. During his time there, he traveled with the choir, arranged music on their albums and appeared with them in the Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston 1996 film, The Preacher's Wife.

Harlem Church Loses 11 Members to Coronavirus in 30 days 

 A Harlem pastor who lost 13 members in 30 days, including 11 to the deadly new coronavirus, said he believes the faith of his congregation is now being tested as many of his congregants remain untested for the virus despite their church’s staggering death toll.
“The Scripture says whether we live, we live unto the Lord, whether we die we die unto the Lord … all of us are born with an expiration date on us and all of us are going to meet death at some point. It is simply unfathomable and unfortunate that so many people in our congregation [have died],” the Rev. Johnnie Green of Mount Neboh Baptist Church in Harlem told The Christian Post Tuesday while noting he hasn’t been getting much sleep.

Study Says 4 In 5 Parents Say Coronavirus Has Brought Family Closer Together 

Some four out of five parents on lockdown with their children due to the coronavirus pandemic say the crisis has brought their families closer together, according to a new study.
A survey of 2,000 British parents by MumPoll revealed that 80% of parents believe they have formed stronger bonds with their families as a result of the increased time they have been spending together during the lockdown, StudyFinds reports.
